We currently seek a Retirement Plan Services Inside Sales Representative to provide our excellent retirement plan product to plan sponsor businesses throughout the Heartland organization and to cross sell to existing clients. This position is at our corporate offices in Dubuque, Iowa. The Retirement Plan Services Inside Sales Representative makes inside sales calls and assists outside sales representatives grow our business and our profits. Career expansion to move into well-defined job enrichment opportunities and/or outside sales is a possibility with this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of relevant experience in the retirement plan industry
Expertise for retirement plan features and provisions, including, but not limited to: plan conversion strategies, investments, testing, and compliance
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify problems and recommend appropriate follow-up action
Superior communication and interpersonal skills via email and phone; self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and follow through skills
Knowledge of plan design, compliance and testing, ERISA and industry standards. Strong presentation skills in board room or one-on-one environment Teamwork and interpersonal skills to work on cross-organizational initiatives
PREFERRED OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Professional designations, such as QPFC, QKA, APA or relevant industry designations (If not already held, it is an expectation that employee will obtain either a QPFC or QKA within the first 24 months of hire.)
